Melissa J. MacDonald
Melissa grew up in a pastor’s home. Ministry was always done as a family. She graduated with her undergraduate degree from Crown College in Minnesota. Fromthere she went on to be a children’s pastor in both Florida and Idaho. She moved from Idaho to Vienna, Austria where she was a missionary working at an international school as the Elementary Chaplain and Counselor. She received her master’s degree in leadership and counseling from A. W. Tozer Seminary.
She worked for 10 years as the Children’s Disciplemaking Specialist for The Christian and Missionary Alliance. While there she created and founded cmalliancekids and was the creator and dean for the Children’s Disciplemaking Leadership Certificate.
Mel currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for INCM (International Network of Children’s Ministry). She travels and speaks extensively in both the US and abroad and is considered one of the leading voices in children’s ministry today.
Melissa married her husband, Luis, in March of 2018. Being a wife and being “Auntie Mo” to her 5 nieces and nephew are her very favorite jobs. Melissa’s prayer is that she may be forgettable and Jesus may be memorable.
